    usdsop cannot create a new process  in ORACLE R12 while patching


      I am facing performance issue while applying a pre-requistie of patch (21271187).  In fact, the process is hung when applying.
      I tried to search here and there to solve the issue but I couldn't find an answer.  Hence, asking here.



      After few jobs are completed the patch , I had performance issue and got hung, and the patch failed and displayed the following output (so I had to quit the adworkers ) :

      It says that I don't have enough resource to start a new process .  Contact your system admin to obtain more resource...
      Unfortunately, I don't have sys admin, and I should do that even though I have no clue as to how I should approach the problem,  So kindly, guide

      me to the solution to optimize the performance and do the patch successfully.
