    output not in pdf file

    Rajesh123

      Hi all,

In the Document set we are having customized pick slip report to get an output in PDF.

      Method: oracle reports

      Output format:  XML

      Style:   Landscape

When i am clicking on View output button and it is showing in XML tags, why it is not in PDF output file?

      oracle apps R12.1.3

      Oracle Reports version 10.1.2.3.0

      Thanks

have you uploaded your bi template with the code being the same as the short_name for the concurrent? a quick way to check this is when you submit your concurrent is your template available for choosing under the templates section...if it isn't that means a key field is not matching up somewhere.

Meaning? , Yes uploaded rtf file to the same short name on template registration.

            Thanks

Yes, it is not picking template name in the layout .

              Concurrent Program: Test Pick Slip

              shtortname: XXCTEST

              Data definition:

              Code: XXCTEST1

and don't attached any xml files or bursting files

              Template:

              Code: XXCTEST

The code for your Data Definition (XXCTEST1) needs to be the same as the shortname of the concurrent (XXCTEST). You won't be able to edit it so you'll have to create another Data Definition with that code and tie the template to the new data definition.  Its ok to append values to the code for the Templates as long as they start with the same value as the short name (XXCTEST_1, XXCTEST_2, etc), but the data definition code has to match the short name exactly.
