What is the error in adrelink.log

If it is PROD and this is a show stopper, go for YES but fix it ASAP

If it is Non-Prod, then better you fix it somehow.

            Hi Vishnu and ALL,

            How do I fix it

Actually, the issue occured after I cloned our EBS R12.1.3 from RHEL5 to RHEL6

I only installed all required RPMs for RHEL6.

I tried to read the following upgrade guide from Linux5 to Linux 6

Per (Doc ID 761566.1), there is a footnote that says:

            Footnotes:

*After installing these patches, run "ldconfig -v" to create necessary links and cache to the most recent shared libraries. After running "ldconfig -v", re-create (as root) all symbolic links pointing to system libraries that may have been done manually. For example, on Red Hat or Oracle Linux 7, /usr/lib/ libdb-4.3.so should be a symbolic link that points to /usr/lib/libdb-4.7.so.

**The openmotif version must be 2.1.30, and the package name must be in the following format: openmotif21-2.1.30.xxx. For example, openmotif-2.2.3.10.RHEL4.5 is not supported.

            Questions:

            1. Do I need to run ldconfig -v  one time only?

            2. How do I  re-create (as root) all symbolic links pointing to system libraries that may have been done manually? Which are  manually and automatic done link libraries?

            3. Do I also need to perofrm the following tasks?:

Patch 12415211 should be applied on 10.1.2 and 10.1.3 ORACLE HOMES

As per Note 761566.1 Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86-64

            After Installing or Upgrading
Perform the following steps after installing or upgrading to Release 12.1.1 and before allowing users to access the system.
Update AS 10g (10.1.2 and 10.1.3) Oracle Homes (Oracle Linux 6, RHEL 6, Oracle Linux 7 and RHEL 7 only)
After installation, users must update the stub libraries in the 10.1.2 and 10.1.3 Oracle Homes using the patch 12415211.

In following the instructions below, please note that Opatch should not be used to install this patch.

This will correctly create libgcc_s.so and will avoid relink failures.

            Note 761566.1
Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86-64
            - After Installing or Upgrading Patch AS 10g (10.1.2 and 10.1.3) Oracle Homes (Oracle Linux 6 and RHEL 6 only)

Note 761566.1 Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86-64
            - Link to Motif library in Oracle Application Server 10.1.2 (on Oracle Linux 5, RHEL 5, Oracle Linux 6 and RHEL 6 only)

What else to I need to perform a tasks?

            Kind regards,
