Login as Application Developer and navigate to Profile.
Define your profile with a yes-no validation and make sure you can set it on responsibility level.
That's it. If you now go to System Administrator and look for XXX: My Profile you can set it on site and responsibility level to Y or N.
I did create a lookup , but it didnt appear in fnd_lookups table, but it is available in fnd_lookup_values table.
select * from FND_LOOKUP_VALUES WHERE LOOKUP_TYPE = 'XX_YES_NO_FLAG'; --> IT SHOWS THE OUTPUT
select * from fnd_lookups where lookup_type='XX_YES_NO_FLAG'; --> NO RECORDS
Also, in the SQL statement should i write just the Select statement or else i need to write SQL = " all the code which you shown above "
You need to write exactly what you see in the screenshot (so with the SQL=). Why don't you use the standard YES_NO one instead?
Not sure why your query does not work (but there is always a logical explanation ;-)).
Ah, you should query FND_LOOKUP_TYPES instead, not FND_LOOKUPS.
