Download a BLOB image as file, how?

M.EmmanuelSep 13 2016 — edited Sep 15 2016

In APEX 5.0.3, Universal Theme, I would like to include a link in a report to download an image stored as BLOB in a table column.

I find references to APEX 4.x but not APEX5.0.5, what I want is a link that, when user clicks on, a "download file" with a given filename appears.

Any tip is welcomed, thanks,

Can't tell from what you've posted. Check the support matrix on metalink for that specific version. Keep in mind that, for example, Oracle supports both Oracle and RedHat 4 updates through at least 6. Which might well be represented as 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6/

How long ago was 10.1 released? Is the 0.1 a bug fix or something more substantive? If you are unsure open an SR and ask.

Do this means Oracle 11g doesn't support SLES 10.1?
No, it is supported. Installation guides are written at the beginning of a major database release, they can't reflect the progress in the OS landscape. I have 11gR1 running SLES 10 SP1 without any problems.

Yes SUSE linux 10.1 is supports Oracle11g. I installed oracle11g 32 bit and 64 bit on suse linux.

The problem with 11g is if dbconsole is started it takes 100% CPU.

Thanks
jeevan.
