MS SQL 2014 and 2016 Support

I've seen past discussions revolving around the support of SQL Server 2014 and that it is not supported in SQL Developer. We are beginning to look at SQL Server 2016, is that going to be supported the same as 2014? (meaning it won't be supported?)    Is there any update available as to when one or both of these versions wil be supported in SQL Developer?
