Can I use a Microsoft managed service account for OIM AD Connector?

I am trying to implement OIM 11.1.2.3 with the AD connector and I'd like to use a managed service account (MSA) if I can.  However, the OIM AD connector configuration complains about no password when I put the MSA in.  Does OIM support Micorsoft managed service accounts?  Please let me know if there's a better place to ask this (still figuring all this out....)
