I keep getting a query error. Does anyone know a solution to this?
With the amount of detail you're giving - no. No one will know a solution.
WHAT precise error?
Could you be more specific if you are using DV in the Cloud or On Premise, version? Do you know that you have to install OBIEE Analytics to use FORECAST R package or ORE in OBIEE 12c/ 11g On Premise? OBIEE 12C: https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12212/lcm/BIEIG/GUID-9094BFE3-0B41-40AD-83F5-23E0A2D7229F.htm#BIEIG-GUID-9094BFE3-0B4…
Please, be more specific with it.
Hi Christian. Sorry for the lack of detail regarding my question.
I have attached an image of the measures/attributes I am using as well as the query error that I am receiving. I also downloaded a forecasting example from (https://sites.google.com/site/oraclebipublicstore/downloads) which also gives me similar querying errors.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look here:
It's probably your Order Month and Order Year columns. They are probably not defined as dates. If you look in the samples Order Month is a formula MONTH(Order Date).
I have been using that formula and creating a calculation, but I still am getting a query error ("general query error has occurred").
My trend lines and reference lines work, but for some reason it is forecasting that is giving me some trouble.
When I try to convert my order year and order month to dates, it also gives me an internal error and says to try again.
When preparing the data, I have created two columns, one for month and one for year (from the order date column). These dates are calculated using formulas "YEAR(Order Date)" and "MONTH(Order Date). When i set the data type to "Date", it makes every row in the column for month or year into 12/31/1969.
The error I receive when I make the Order Year column a date is:
All I am trying to do is to forecast the sales over year and month.
If I leave it as an integer and make it an attribute, and then try the forecast tool. I get the error:
Looks more like a file error. Have you tried to reload the file?
