Compilation errors not displaying in Message Log after compiling DB packages ...

bondursDec 7 2016 — edited Dec 16 2016

Greetings all:

I am using SQL Developer 4.1.5.21.  When I open my package files from the file system and compile them in the DB, I only get a message in the Messages Log saying that my file has compiled.  It won't show me the compilation errors.  To see the errors, I have to find the package from the list in the connections pane, recompile the file from there, and check to see if the package is marked with a red X indicating an error.  This is a real pain, having to check this every time I compile.   What setting am i missing that will display the package errors directly after I compile?

I have not run in to this issue in previous version of SQL Developer.

Thanks,

Stan

Reinstalled with previous release 18.1.2.1.0 and worked fine.
