Courses are meaningless compared to experience - I wouldn't recommend hiring anybody just because of the courses they've been on.
I agree, but courses are the first step.
how to get experience of something i did not study?!

You will need to have knowledge in these areas -
- forms / reports
- sql and pl/sql
- java (optionally if coding in Java)
I am already a stand-alone developer(sql, pl/sql, forms and reports).
Should I study all threads in the link you posted?
I want to know the basic things every technical consultant(apps developer) must know?
If you are familiar with sql, plsql and forms/reports, then studying the first link will be useful in defining the framework in which customizations and extensions are made in EBS with those technologies. Experience can only be gained by actually developing for EBS, of course :-)
It's a very good link, but too much topics.
- I think there are a number of topics companies need you to be aware of as a technical consultant?
