    Button does not work

    S.Bovin

      Im using ApEx 3.2.1 - we are upgrading to ApEx 5 soon, but I have to fix this issue in ApEx 3.2.1

      Ive created a button that calls a page process, but when I press the button nothing happens and the process does not execute.

      Can you let me know what I am missing or provide instructions for creating a button that calls a page process

      This is what I have

      Button

      ######################

      Button name = SAVE2

      Button Style = Template Based Button

      Button Template = Button

      Condition = -- Button NOT conditional --

      Authorization Scheme  = none

      build option = none

      page Process

      ######################

      Name = Foo

      Process Point = On Submit - After Computations and Validations

      Run process = Once per page visit (default)

      Code

      -- =================

      begin

      ssp_log_add ('485 ApplyMRU start');

      end;

      -- =================

      success message = ok

      error message = error

      conditional process = none "- select condition type -"

      when button pressed = SAVE2

      Authorization Scheme  = none

      build option = none

          Problem solved - I found the cause of the problem

          I had changed most of the column definitions from "Standard Report Column" to "Text Saves State"

          I dont know why, but that caused the SAVE button to stop working.

          I changed some of them back to "Standard Report Column" and now they are working again
