    Enhancement Request (API) for Prospective Suppliers creation/purge in SLM

      This is an Enhancement Request sourced from SR 3-12906056831.

      As per Oracle Support (notes below), an Enhancement Request has already been logged for this, but there seems to be no solution for this yet.

          Hi,

           

          Since the SR referenced was closed last July-16, I would create a new SR to Oracle iSupport Portal and have the severity upgraded from sev3 to sev2 (Very desirable feature) or even sev1 (Extremely desirable feature).  Only Support can upgrade the severity of the ER, so a quick SR would be best as the SR is already attached to the ER.  You can monitor any status/updates as follows:

           

          Here is some information to track the ER:

           

          You can review the status of the ER for a future release. It will remain open until it is either incorporated into the product, or it is deemed not feasible. Consequently, due to the fact that this decision can occur over an extended period of time, this originating SR will be inactivated. Progress on your ER can be monitored via MyOracleSupport by following any of these steps:

           

          Generic Version:
          1. Use Quick Find to search for the bug number
          2. View the bug details
          3. Then set a bookmark so you can review the status of the bug

          HTML UI
          1. Use Quick Find to search for the bug number ( enable the "ID" radio button)
          2. View the bug details
          3. Click "Add to favorites" link in the "Next Steps" Region

          Flash UI
          1. Use Quick Find to search for the bug number ( use "Bug Number" option )
          2. View the bug details
          3. Click on the Star Icon to add a favorite

            Hi Russell,

             

            There are so many bug/ER are pending to fix since so long.  This issue must have to resolve to fulfill the Business need.

            In Raised SR, Oracle Support gives us only the Bug/ER Number,  not provides any solution.

            In such case, what we have to do ? How I can we meet the end users requirements.

             

            For example :

            Bug 2893902 : MAKE ORDERED_ITEM FIELD ON THE ORDER ORGANIZER RESIZABLE

            Bug 2869654 : UNABLE TO RESIZE ORDERED ITEM FIELD ON ORDER FORM

             

            Even some of the bug I have seen , pending since 1994.with severity 2 and Approved for future release then why not in next release ?

             

            we have EBS R12.1.3.
