I have faced a question in a recent interview. The question asked is : You are running cmclean script. What exactly the script will do ,what will happen to the running requests and the requests in the queue. Once the script finished running you started the CM, Now what will happen? Can you please explain.
First thing I would say to the interviewer if you are running cmclean.sql on R12 or above, you are doing something unsupported:
Is the Script CMCLEAN.SQL Supported in EBS R12? (Doc ID 2183718.1)
Then I would mention if I were to run this obsolete SQL, it would clear out concurrent queue statuses, and cancel and running requests. All pending requests will run when the concurrent managers are restarted.
