    FDMEE mapping sql script table?

    JanGLi

      Hi,

According to fdmee mapping example by oracle it seems that we can use only tdataseg table.

Can we use other tables in sql scripts while creating like mapping? if yes can you guys suggest how?

This is my script, i created this script considering aif_open_interface table

      CASE

WHEN COL06 = 'NITRIC ACID' AND COL05 = 'CAN' THEN 'NA for CAN'

      ELSE 'IGNORE'

      END

Kindly advice how to correct it?

      Regards

No, but why would you want to anyway? Are you not bringing the contents of the AIF_Open_Interface for COL06 and COL05 into the FDMEE data tables? If not you should do and reference them as lookup dimensions if you don't want their values being pushed through to the target system and if you are then you no longer have an issue referencing their values in a mapping script

            Thanks for help and advice.

I just wanted to map my dimensions... i thought since i am using OIA i will have to write script according to AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table.

In the end it did write my script according to tdataseg table and i was able to get the desired result

            This is what i wrote:

            CASE

WHEN UD2 = 'NITRIC ACID' AND UD8 = 'CAN' THEN 'NA for CAN'

            ELSE 'IGNORE'

            END

UD2 and UD8 are columns of table tdataseg.

            Thanks for help.
