APEX 5.1 Interactive Grid Popup-LOV column type display issue

Matt MulvaneyJan 27 2017 — edited Jan 30 2017

Hi Team,

I've got an editable Interactive Grid, one of the columns is a popup LOV.

If I double click the Popup LOV column in the row to enter edit mode so that I can see the Popup LOV (without actually popping it up).

Then drag the right-hand side of the column header to make the column smaller, let go of the mouse button, drag it again to make it wider, then the Popup LOV relocates itself higher up in the cell and its now difficult to click on.

Let me know if you want me to create a Demo app on apex.oracle.com

Additionally, If I have a Interactive Grid (can be editable or non-editable) with Page Level Pagination and "show total row count" = YES

If I scroll down to the bottom of the page, the "total records" moves slight off the page (to the right) becoming difficult to read - especially noticeable with over 100 rows

All the best - Matt

Hi Matt,

The popup lov display issue is bug #25438167. I hope it will be fixed for 5.1.1. Until then you can use the work around from this thread:

Apex IG Bug when all columns are Pop-up lov and you add new row (Pop up bad position, not selectable)

Can you provide more details on the total records hard to read issue.

Is the headers fixed to region or page?

Is pagination type scroll or page?

Is the sticky header/footer overflowing the region on the right?

Does the problem go away if you resize the window?

A screen shot may help.

Regards,

-John

Hi John

The headers are fixed to Page

Pagination is Page

Resizing can help but not always: see screenshot

Thanks Matt for this clear animation. I can reproduce the issue as well. I entered bug #25469639 to track this.
