You will get the panel/DDL to compare - if you have difference. You won't get it if there is no differences between the objects.
I have a problem that When I am trying to create my copy schema script. The Table script won't insert tables because of:
SQL Error: ORA-00959: tablespace 'DDFT' does not exist
00959. 00000 - "tablespace '%s' does not exist"
How can I make sure that the TableSpace is available using the diff tool? I left "ignore tablespace" unchecked? and I know there are a couple of Tablespaces and I'm having trouble defining one in SQL developer. I still couldn't create the tables??
It looks like you're trying to copy a tablespace that doesn't exist. Can you run the query below and post back the detail.
select tablespace_name from dba_tablespaces where tablespace_name like 'DDFT%';
Yeah, in the source DB this table space exists:
This doesn't exist in my local version. I'm assuming there is no way to include such statements in the Diff Wizard?
How would or should I create a TABLESPACE? It seems to involve a datafile? I'm using the XE version of Oracle to clone a production DB if that makes any difference?
If it's not in your db, then it won't be in your DIFF wizard. You can create the tablespace using.
