Have you sought to extract the data using a custom application and then build a process around such.
Secondly you can even look at HFM task flows and design a process around such
Other members of the board may also have other options.
Hopefully the info is helpful to you and let us know how you make out.
What do you mean when you say "... I tried to put extracted data from HFM into T_DATASEG table ..."? You would not try to insert data directly into this table. If you are using the Open Interface Adapter you only need to populate the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table and FDMEEs native functionality will handle the rest of the import process to TDATASEG. I'd review the steps you have taken when configuring your Open Interface adapter project as it sounds like that is where you are going wrong
I created an ODI interface that retrieve data from HFMData table and load it into T_DATASEG; I took Open Interface adapter project and replaced AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table with HFM data table and mapped it on T_DATASEG.
So you mean I have to create a new interface where I map HFMData table on AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table, is right?
Thanks for this info! I'll try and let you know if works!
You need to review how to use the open interface adapter. You have to load your dataset i.e. HFM data into the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table. This table has to be the target for you to be within the limited use ODI use license that comes with FDMEE. So yes, the customisation of the Open Interface adapter is to add an interface or procedure to load the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table with whatever data you want to import.
