      Hi ALL,

      Below is our bde_chk_cbo output.

Why is that it was able to show our server CPU info? but not the RAM info? So that it could be more useful?

      Kind regards,

      Jc

          Hi jc,

I agree it would help to show server RAM on the header of the report but the purpose of the report is to identify initialization parameters that are not inline with recommendations.  In addition, there are 5 operating systems this report could run on (Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX) all with different commands to calculate total memory, free memory, swap used etc.  I am sure the author of the report figures the DBA knows how to see the RAM installed on the DB host, either by Windows Task Manager or command line on Unix/Linux.

          Regards,

          Michael
