It's the EMP_NAME_LOV I think.
It uses this query
SELECT p.full_name, p.current_employee_flag, p.business_group_name, p.employee_number, p.npw_number, p.email_address, p.person_id FROM HR_FNDSCAUS_PERSON_LOV_V p
The BUSINESS_GROUP_NAME is displayed, but not copied back to the screen. So you could 'misuse' that.
- You cannot add fields to the LOV. You can only change the content.
- You should not change the order or the column names of the LOV.
- You cannot misuse fields that are copied back to the form (like FULL_NAME, EMAIL_ADDRESS, PERSON_ID).
So create a new Record Group using the same query, but different content and attach that to this LOV.
I found that the LOV is using the view you listed, HR_FNDSCAUS_PERSON_LOV_V.
So the "Employee Number" field is of no use to me in this form. Without changing the column title, would there be any negative effect if I changed the view to pull a different numeric field?

Whatever you do don't change the standard view. Personalise the form to change the record group instead.
