Issues with configuring BPM BacNodes on SingleNode Host

    Martien van den Akker

      Hi All,

At my current customer we installed and configured a two node BPM Cluster on a Single Node Host. Our first problem with that was that the OraceBAMBACServerApp was not startable because of a network address bind exception. That was solved using the doc 'Unable to set the Activation State to true for the application "OracleBPMBACServerApp" (Doc ID 1987120.1)https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?_afrLoop=270109465258222&id=1987120.1&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.ctrl-state=18jxabawil_4'.

But after adapting the setup as described, we got the following exception, when opening a BPM Project:

This result in a HTTP 500 in the browser.

I thought to have solved it by setting the Bac Config to Active Passive: Darwin-IT: BPM BAC Subversion Server refusing connections  .

But this appears to give problems with creating a new project. For the moment we brought down the bpm_server1, having only the the working bpm_server2 up.

Has anyone any clue in how the BacNodes work together and how they should be configured on a single node host?

It is typical that you apparently can't update all the properties and somehow the BacNode for bpm_server1 has the property local=true and does not exept an address in the admin_address, while on bpm_server2, local=false while accepting a value.

Does any one knows what the rationale is?

      Thanks in advance.

      Regards,
      Martien
