Is this structure present in a single hierarchy or multiple hierarchies?
Thanks & Regards
It is present on multiple hierarchies. Thanks!
What Value dimension member are you attempting to load too? Entity Currency?
If so, have you attempted a test load with the Parent removed?
i.e. Parent Entity1.Entity A syntax. --> Entity A only.. ?
It's Parent Currency Adjs
OK. Parent currency adjs exists independently for each parent. Note you can tell this in the Value dimension by whether it is surrounded by square bracket [ ] (parent dependant value dimension member) or these <> (Entity dependant).
Then you will need to create a line for each Parent.Entity relationship you are loading too;
Do you need ONLY Parent Entity3.Entity A loaded? If so What does your Entity mapping display for your source?
If you want it loaded to all three hierarchies to consolidate, then you need 3 lines to take into account the currency of the Parent entities.
Parent Entity1.Entity A
Parent Entity2.Entity A
Parent Entity3.Entity A
The Parent Curr Adjs Value is surrounded by <>.
For Entity mapping, it's currently * to *. Do I need to add mapping for the parent.entity member?

With very limited details of what you are trying to achieve, it appears an Explicit mapping targeted to 'Parent Entity3.EntityA' would serve the above purpose.
Let me try this one. I'll update you if it works.
Thanks a lot.
Do I need to put something to the target value member? Or is it just..
Source -> Target
EntityA -> Parent3.EntityA
The Value Dimension is set for the Load Location in the Location Attributes -> General Tab under Data Value, HOWEVER to confirm - Is this a Journal Template Import in FDM? Generally you cannot load data directly into the PCA Value dimension member in HFM, it must be via Journal load.
If not you may want to see -> "Using Journal Templates to Import Data"
Right now, we are pulling from a PeopleSoft view to load.
The DATA Value in our location is: <Parent Curr Adjs>;<Parent Curr Adjs>
I believe the second <Parent Curr Adjs> is the one that determine that it's supposed to be a journal load.
I also have the same concern...
I want to know how HFM journals are being loaded via FDM only in a single parent entity (ex. Parent Entity 1) even though entity is a shared member.
Though in my case, journal data were pulled from table view with no parent member specified. So how come it was loaded in Parent Entity 1 and not in its default parent or even on all 3 parents? Is this based on the order of hierarchy? Since Parent Entity 1 is on the top list based on metadata that is where data will be loaded? Or is there a setting within HFM or FDM that specifies the parent hierarchy on which all journals loaded via FDM will be loaded to? or is there something to do with mapping?
