This program primarily purge core workflow tables like wf_item_activity_statuses. You will need to query your own workflow tables to determine if the rows present are mostly temporary or permanent persistence types. Personally, I prefer to purge both temporary and permanent workflows after 45 or 60 days, giving us most of the month to review previous month's AP/OM/PO workflows for issues.
