      Hi Experts,

We are trying to load data from a text file into our FDMEE systems and while trying to execute the rule we are getting an error .Please help us in resolve the issue.

[FMWGEN][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string. Our FDMEE environment is 11.1.2.3.700

      This our Source file

How have you mapped the fields in your import format

Yes  I verified it , all the fields are mapped in the import format. Is this the case with the Database which is causing it  ?. Our database is SQL server 2008 r2

Based on soley on the few screenshot you provided it appears that you are using Multi Period but your Period are in the rows not in the columns of the data file....

Do you have separate files(with period names) for each Period thus you are ignoring the periods in the rows of your source file?

This is the first time we are  trying to load the text file into fdmee application. Usually , we load data through aif_interface and oracle ebiz. Might be we are missing some thing in the format of the file. Please provide us the sample format for multi period

Have you read the FDMEE admin guide? This covers all the basic concepts that will help you solve your issue

Having your log level set to 5, where is that SQL error raised?

                    Maybe wrong period definition?

We are trying to load to the same "international" location through the text file. Earlier for this location, we used to load text file into  AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE  table, which directly loads the data into FDMEE application .Is it possible to append the small intersection of data for P07 and P08 periods through text file . Yes the log level has been always set to 5

Are you sure the location is not still pointing to your Open Interface adapter?

The way you describe your requirement is not clearest one.

Please can you elaborate a bit more?

Earlier our International location datas were loaded  into FDMEE through the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table . The import formats  for source coming from AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table were defined as Legacy system in the Import format. We have created a new import format Intfile for loading flat files and attached the import format to the existing location International .This is the lastest sample source file that we are trying to load for P08-2017

                          Location,VIEW,CURRENCY,AMOUNT,Entity,Account,ICP,DataSource

                          INTERNATIONAL,YTD,USD,48.41,1983,91,[ICP None],TEXT-USD

When ever we click on the location international load rule we are getting an error stating

[FMWGEN][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string. How to load this file for the same location.while we switch the import format back to Legacy in the existing rule there are no errors.

                          Refer the below screenshot

Can you create a new location, assign the import format Intfile, create a dummy data load rule, and test again?

Created a new location called DP and assigned the import format Intfile .Loaded the text file and tested the data load rule for P07-2017. It ran successfully but how to assign Intfile import format  to the existing rule .It seems the problem is with in the fdmee db side which stores the rule entries

Probably something wrong in the database when you switched from OIA to File.
