As has been said by several users, OC4J is middleware for 12.1 only and WebLogic is middleware for 12.2 EBS. There is minimal middleware tuning required for EBS as all configurations are handled by AutoConfig. 99% of slowness will be within the database due to suboptimal execution plans due to stale statistics, missing indexes or poorly written SQL.

Web server or application server or middle-ware does same functionality ?

Why oracle ebs using 2 web server oracle http server and oc4j in oracle 12.1? What is the function of OHD and oc4j?
Why oracle ebs using 2 web server oracle http server and Web-logic in oracle 12.2? What is the function of OHD and weblogic?
We can deploy jar or war files using oracle http server or Web-logic. Hence why oracle ebs has 2 web server.
Please anyone help me
