RSUM

I have applied RSUM by Geo which works fine but for some reason when I add the grand total on the row the total is incorrect, it shows only the sum of NAMER as the grand total- see image below.

Any idea?

If you are Summing again in Pivot which means no point of using RSUM.

I am not summing again in pivot, do you suggest I dont edit the formula and sum it in pivot? how should I do that?

I mean to say SIGMA or aggregation as you pointed with RED arrow

My RSUM is to aggregate the revenue week over week by region as you see in my image for the entire quarter but then I need to show the total for all regions for each week.

Can you try the same steps what you did in Pivot table without RSUM? I think you'll understand after that.

Thanks again but I want to be able to show the number aggregated week after week for each region, that is why I need it to be RSUM and at the same time I want to show the grant total for each week- so that is not possible?

Short answer: No.

Longer answer: No because you define one aggregation rule for totals and not multiple - i.e. one for rows and one for columns:

@Christian, did you mean to say that I can have only one of the two? and not both? by rows and columns?
yes I have the RSUM aggregated formula by region in there to show week over week.

I mean to say that the tool does precisely what I put in the screenshot: it has one aggregation rule which you can set for the totals.

Now a pivot being a cross-tab that logic will be used for columns and rows. For your RSUM example that means one will be "wrong" but normally an RSUM isn't aggregated again anyways. That's what you have normal measure column for.

This is what I did, I changed the default to Sum
Then added total to the rows but removed the total from the columns...so it seems you are right, I think my boss would like more to see the total by columns , we will see. thanks
