    421 Exceeded allowable connection time, disconnecting in workflow mailer log


      Hello Community


      In the last 7 days this error has appeared over 110000 times in our current mailer log.  This seems to have been a common error in our environments where we have workflow setup, however the last few days this has been very high.


      We are seeing performance issues in the queue for all items, however we are seeing a serious lag in the time a PO is processed and received to when the PDF is received - 3 day lag.


      Could this error be causing this lag in time?  if it could be related what is the best way forward to deal with it.  Our SMTP team are saying it is the application and oracle in the SR are saying its with the SMTP people to investigate.


      Any guidance would be much appreciated.
