                Hi Shaik,

770 can't change as audit people will not allow.

750 is the max value for permission.

                Please suggest..

                Thanks

                Vivek

I see no harm... Hopefully you would only run your jdk and opatch with your application user and not anyone else anyway...

I would make sure the environment is tested if all is good, go with it...  You can always switch it back if something came up.

Or push back on the auditor...

                    Aldrich,

                    Thanks for your recommendation.

                    Got,

For the flles/directories w.r.t TXKCHKEBSDEPENDECIES.PL, there is a known Bug.

Bug 25488916 - TXKCHKEBSDEPENDECIES.PL IS CREATING LOG DIRECTORIES WITH 777 PERMISSIONS

And Oracle is not recommending to change the permission to 750.

With our own risk, we need to change the permission. And it is production instance, we can't experiment much.

                    Trying to push Auditor.

                    Thanks

                    Vivek
