wich ist tht limit to number of groups in OID DIT? or what is the maximum number of groups in OID?
Regards
Elvis
Oracle has published benchmarks with 100 million users for OID, here is the LINK. At the backend OID uses Oracle database to store users and groups. Here is another published report with 2 billion entries in OID, with each enty having 19 attributes. Each entry in OID could be any object, e.g. User, group etc.
You shouldn't worry too much about the number of groups, but whether you are using static or dynamic groups as that will have significance in performance.
The number of the members in static groups will affect performance is the value is huge, but that depends on how many entries you have in total and what type of queries you are making.
Than you and have a nice weekend
