OAM Metrics used in OEM?

TerryShoemaker-OracleAug 22 2017 — edited Sep 10 2017

I have a customer who is interested in the following:

They would like more details on the mechanism built into OEM/OAM for
determining how long an authentication, authorization, or LDAP operation is
taking related to OAM Metrics reported in OEM console.

In particular details on how the following Metrics are
calculated and how customer can validate it:

1. Average Authentication Latency (ms)
2. Average Authorization Latency (ms)
3. Average LDAP Operation Latency (ms)

Thanks for any information that can be provided.

Hi ,

Some details on this aspect seems to be available from OAM console itself. Please check if these links gives the details which you are looking for (not specifically for the points listed in your post) but in general :

You can get detailed metrics of Authentications/sec and latency etc from EM console of OAM. URL will be like http://yourOAM_hostname:7003/em (for example 7003 is OAM console port). See below are key metrics for Authentication, success rate% Refer LINK
