I can't make it out from the marketing whether ESB is another spin on OAI/Oracle Interconnect/Oracle Integration/Oracle Fusion Middleware or something cool and new.
Anyone know, simply, the difference between Oracle Fusion Middleware, Enterprise Service Bus and the regular old InterConnect?
As far as I understand it ;
* Fusion Middleware is the name of the product-family that includes ESB, BPEL, Webservicemanager etc.
* Interconnect is a messagebroker using hub and spoke model
* ESB is a new generation integration product that supports hub and spoke but also bus architecture. It is the follow-up of interconnect
