Hope it helps
The product to be checked fnd_product_installations is MSC, MSO, MSR, MRP for ASCP
Here are my questions -
1. Do you want to setup Separate ASCP instance ?
2. Do you want to create share instance including EBS/VCP ?
Normally what we do for VCP instance is - Install EBS instance and apply VCP Version patches on the top of it.
Thanks Prashant, Jibu, and ALL,
Yes we are currently doing #1 separate ascp instance.
Our source instance is EBS 12.1.3 and our target instance ASCP/VCP is 12.2.4
My question is what module license full/share do check in 12.2.4 ASCP/VCP target instance?
Jibu said MSC, MSO, MSR, and MRP is may understanding correct.
Do I check it as FULL or SHARED install?
ASCP modules are fully installed modules. The concept of shared install does not apply to ASCP/VCP modules. Please license the product that the customer has licensed. If they are licensed for Advanced Supply Chain Planning, then license that module during rapid install, or after installation by using License Manager in Oracle Applications Manager. Shared modules are like shared HR used by AP/PO modules when HR is not fully licensed.
If they are licensed for additional modules like Constrain Based Optimization, Advanced Planning Command Center, etc then license those produce as well. You should relink executables for MSC and any other module licensed like MSO/MSR.
