Compatibility JDK, ojdbc driver for oracle 12.1 and 12.2

Hi there,

We just wanted to confirm the JDK version support associated with the Oracle drivers delivered as part of the Oracle database.

Consider the drivers delivered as part of the following Oracle versions.

========================================

Oracle Version - 12.1.0

JDBC File Name: ojdbc6.jar

JDK Version - is this 6.x only or also runs with JDK 7.x and 8.x?

JDBC File Name: ojdbc7.jar

JDK Version - is this 7.x and 8.x only or also runs with JDK 6.x?

========================================

Oracle Version - 12.2.0

JDBC File Name: ojdbc8.jar

JDK Version - is this 8.x only and does not run with any previous JDK versions?
