    3179496

      Hi Team,

      I have written ASO member formula as below  and its working fine and need your support for some If/Case condition.

      [Days Total].[Day_01]+[Days Total].[Day_02]+[Days Total].[Day_03]+[Days Total].[Day_04]+[Days Total].[Day_05]+[Days Total].[Day_06]+[Days Total].[Day_07]+[Days Total].[Day_08]+[Days Total].[Day_09]+[Days Total].[Day_10]+[Days Total].[Day_11]+[Days Total].[Day_12]+[Days Total].[Day_13]+[Days Total].[Day_14]+[Days Total].[Day_15]+[Days Total].[Day_16]+[Days Total].[Day_17]+[Days Total].[Day_18]+[Days Total].[Day_19]+[Days Total].[Day_20]+[Days Total].[Day_21]+[Days Total].[Day_22]+[Days Total].[Day_23]+[Days Total].[Day_24]+[Days Total].[Day_25]+[Days Total].[Day_26]+[Days Total].[Day_27]+[Days Total].[Day_28]+[Days Total].[Day_29]+[Days Total].[Day_30]+[Days Total].[Day_31]

      Support for:

      IF conditon in ASO member formula(Case when)

      IF (@ISMBR(@IDESCENDANTS("Total_Asset"),@IDESCENDANTS("Total_Liability"),@IDESCENDANTS("Total_Equity"))) means should come only [Days Total].[Day_31]

      else

      Thanks in advance.

      Regards,

      Sathya

          what have you developed so far?

          Have you Google [essbase aso if statement] which gives several hits?

                Hi,

                BSO Formula is working fine and i'm trying to write ASO member formula same as BSO,but i need  Some IF Condition like ASSET/LIABILITY/EQUITY(IDESCENDANTS members)  means Day1 or Day2  or Day 31 and Revenue/Expense category (IDESCENDANTS members) means Day1 to Day31.

                BSO Member Formula(Working fine)

                IF (@ISMBR(@IDESCENDANTS("Total_Asset"),@IDESCENDANTS("Total_Liability"),@IDESCENDANTS("Total_Equity")))

                ["Day_31"];

                ELSE

                ["Day_01"]+["Day_02"]+["Day_03"]+["Day_04"]+["Day_05"]+["Day_06"]+["Day_07"]+["Day_08"]+["Day_09"]+["Day_10"]+["Day_11"]+["Day_12"]+["Day_13"]+["Day_14"]+["Day_15"]+["Day_16"]+["Day_17"]+["Day_18"]+["Day_19"]+["Day_20"]+["Day_21"]+["Day_22"]+["Day_23"]+["Day_24"]+["Day_25"]+["Day_26"]+["Day_27"]+["Day_28"]+["Day_29"]+["Day_30"]+["Day_31"];

                ENDIF

                ASO Member formula

                  The question was what have you tried/developed so far? It appears you have not attempted to do anything. The forum is to assist members where possible not do other members work.

                  You were also provided a Google link which if you did Google will give you several hits which give direction of exactly what you are looking to do including the Essbase guide.

                  Go ahead an Google and make an attempt to write your ASO formula with the CASE etc.

                  If you run into an issue after you attempt folks on the board will seek to provide help as necessary.

                  Good luck.

                    I have tried this one and also its validating but i dont know,how to use @IDESCENDANTS in ASO formula

                    CASE

                            WHEN IS([Account].Total_Asset, [Days Total].[Day_31]) THEN ([Days Total].[Day_01]+[Days Total].[Day_02]+[Days Total].[Day_03]+[Days Total].[Day_04]+[Days Total].[Day_05]+[Days Total].[Day_06]+[Days Total].[Day_07]+[Days Total].[Day_08]+[Days Total].[Day_09]+[Days Total].[Day_10]+[Days Total].[Day_11]+[Days Total].[Day_12]+[Days Total].[Day_13]+[Days Total].[Day_14]+[Days Total].[Day_15]+[Days Total].[Day_16]+[Days Total].[Day_17]+[Days Total].[Day_18]+[Days Total].[Day_19]+[Days Total].[Day_20]+[Days Total].[Day_21]+[Days Total].[Day_22]+[Days Total].[Day_23]+[Days Total].[Day_24]+[Days Total].[Day_25]+[Days Total].[Day_26]+[Days Total].[Day_27]+[Days Total].[Day_28]+[Days Total].[Day_29]+[Days Total].[Day_30]+[Days Total].[Day_31])

                    END
