Check trap configuration on SL150.
Current state show that server of STA can connect to SL150 by snmp, but not recive any trap from library.
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E89154_01/STAIN/stain_snmplib.htm#STAIN265 -> Create the STA SNMP v3 Trap Recipient
Also check firewall configuration in case it used.
Starting from STA 2.3 firewall on Linux must be running.
Start tcpdump -i eth0 port 162 and check connections again.
In case tcpdump catch some packets from library:
- Check firewall configuration, port NAT.
- Check engineid defined at trap on SL150
In case tcdump not catch packets fromlibrary:
- Check trap definition on SL150 (trap host)
- Check firewall rules for permit UDP port 162 or intermiate firewall.
I recently upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3 (non-running firewall to running firewall) but I had not turned on my firewall during the upgrade, so the install script never setup the firewall correctly. Now I am getting the same error but I can not find a way to run the firewall update script or the firewall setting to do this manually. Can someone point me to the firewall update script from the install OR what the new firewall setting are so I can set them manually so I can start getting data again?

STA 2.3 require running firewall for redirect 162 UDP ( SNMPTRAP) to 7027
But some ports can be changed during installation.
