I recommend running dbv against your datafiles to ensure they were all restored correctly. Also recompile all invalid objects with $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql. Please post any errors in the alert log which appear after trying to open forms.
Thanks for replying ! I verified all file with dbv. No issues at all. There are only 29 invalid objects in the database. The forms error is still there (APP FND 01926 + ORA 04062). There is no error message in the alert log...
Could the form be referencing an object that does not exist in your year-old backup. Did you restore only the database? I would think the appl_top would have to be restored as well so that running the same version of all programs.
Typically this happens when pl/sql code objects required by the forms launching process are recompiled while v$access locks are held by some process. One way to resolve this is to shutdown the applications, as apps run:
select * from user_objects where object_name like FND%' order by last_ddl_time desc;
Recompile the first 10-20 FND objects, or anything recompiled around the time of your recovery point. Then try to restart the applications. If that still fails, please follow the action plan from the note below:
