Following page specifies that Oracle does not allows to have the directory path on remote server. So, this is not possible using Oracle
I am creating the dbms job scheduler for export the dump file to remote machine,
I used following command for creating the directory
CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY EXPDIR AS 'y:\dump';
Note:I created mapping folder I given that path.
How is a mapping folder different from a regular folder?
Have you tried UNC mapping ?
Also ensure that the account running the Oracle Service has privileges to read and write to the remote folder.
