concurrent request outputs will open in pdf or excel
based on the configuration.
In this case excel file to be opened and
do save as, the file type to be chosed
as comma seperated file format which is csv.
then save it. do not modify the csv file and save
as it will lead to format issues. in case you want to add/mofify/delete
do it only in excel, save once, then
open excel, do save as again, file type comma
seperated. Then use the csv file.
problem here is file is too large. so it is not opening only. So before opening only I want to convert this in csv format. Is this possible. Or any other way to open large data.
It's only a warning message that while opening large file. You can still open it.
I did several times like that. But if it is not at all allowing to open in your laptop/pc,
then you need to check with your IT desk for increasing paging or RAM......
It got open but time taken is too long around 3hrs. So that If I convert this file in csv it will take less time
Is not feasible to get the file from server and FTP to desktop ?
CSV is possible with eText template
No excel file itself taking time to open after taking it from server.
If the file is already downloaded , you can use VBA function to convert to csv without opening the file.
You can find the threads to do the same in Microsoft community pages.
ok let me check about vba functions else i will use etext option
