RAC on VMware

Dears,

Happy new year,

I am looking for your help and support for our case … our customer is running RAC on top of 42 Nodes and now VMware support then and they are going for a software define data center architectuer to delivers a unified platform that supports any application and provides flexible control. Because of this activity they are planning to drop RAC on physical server to be on top of VMware and VSAN.

From your experience how we can compare such architecture will not effect databases performance
