I am attempting to precompile some cobol code on a RedHat 7 system using the 64 bit client. This process was originally setup on a HP-UX system, but I am attempting to migrate it off. I am a system engineer and do not know much about Oracle. I have no idea where to look or how to troubleshoot this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
RHEL 7 - 3.10.0-693.21.1.el7.x86_64
/usr/lib/oracle/12.1/client64/bin/procob: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/oracle/12.1/client64/bin/procob: undefined symbol: kgsuglo_
/usr/lib/oracle/12.1/client64/bin/procob config=/Config/config.cfg INAME=/Source/WIN002.cbl ONAME=/Source/WIN002.cob LNAME=PreCompList/WIN002.lis
*This syntac also produces the same error.
The .cbl files all had ^M characters in them which I believed could be causing the error. I used the dos2unix utility to convert the files but the error remained.
You may have asked the question in a wrong community space, this is the EBS space and your issue - as per my search on MOS - looks like database related.
