You won't be able to load data over the network unless you keep your network up and running.
I've loaded millions of rows and never had that problem.

2. HOW you do it
3. WHAT results you get
Oracle 184.108.40.206 on Solaris SPARC.
I am trying to use sqlldr utility to upload about 300k records. The file to be imported is about 250M.
I get the following error:
SQL Loader-643 : error executing insert statement for table foo
ORA-03113: end of file communication channel
My alert log says : ERROR: Unrecoverable error ORA-29701 raised in ASM I/O path; terminating process 3202
My Oracle user profile CONNECT_TIME, IDLE_TIME has UNLIMITED values.
I've also tried setting my sqlnet.expire_time to 0 thinking maybe it was due to connection time.
I also tried using direct path but that failed as well.
Database is in NOARCHIVELOG mode and I have 6x100M redo log groups.
Any ideas or help appreciated!
