Easily done by using the runcat command line:
Archive it in 184.108.40.206, replace the app role names that change between the 11 and 12 (most people forget this), then unarchive to 12. Last start the OBIPS and then run the "Scan and Update Catalog Objects That Require Updates" from the OBIEE Administration.
Thanks for your prompt response christian but kindly elaborate above that process.

Read the runcat help:
runcat.sh -help or runcat.cmd -help -->
The documentation is also very specific about runcat: https://docs.oracle.com/apps/search/search.jsp?category=middleware&product=e67599-01&q=runcat
It's a series of commands. Learn how this works. Copying and pasting code you have no clue about and don't understand is NOT a good idea.
