    How to remove old ASCP/VCP  setup plans?

    Beauty_and_dBest

      Source Instance = EBS 12.1.3  (11gR2)

      APS Instance     = EBS 12.2.4  (11gR2)

      OL6

      Hi ALL,

      We have leftover setups in our PROD EBS instance, done by  previous ASCP/VCP vendor/consultants who were not able to successfully make it to production.

      Please share docs or steps on how to cleanup the messed setup, or how to remove them.

      How to remove the old erroneous setup like below reported in apscheck.sql?

      Kind regards,

      jc

          Please find below the details to remove unwanted instances and db links -

          Recreate NEW DB Links between your CLONED environments.

          2. Go to the instance definition screen and update the DB links.

          Nav: Advanced Planning Administrator -> Admin -> Instances.

            Thanks Prasant,

            Re: Doc ID 137293.1

            SQL #8

            -- Script to drop plan partition .

            declare

            errbuf varchar2(1000);

            retcode number ;

            begin  /* Dropping a plan partition */

            msc_manage_plan_partitions.drop_force_partition(errbuf,retcode,&plan_partition_number,1);

            end ;

            /

            What is query to run if there are existing plan partitions that can be deleted?

            SQL #9

            -- Script to drop instance partition .

            declare

            errbuf varchar2(1000);

            retcode number ;

            begin /* Dropping an instance partition */

            msc_manage_plan_partitions.drop_force_partition(errbuf,retcode,&instance_partition_number,2);

            end ;

            /

            What is query to run if there are existing instance partitions that can be deleted?

            Kind regards,

              Please find below -

              SQL #2

              --This SQL will show the instance partitions that have been created –

              -- Free Flag

                 1 = Yes

                 2 = No

              select      instance_id,
                               free_flag,
                               creation_date,
                               last_update_date
              from        msc_inst_partitions;

              According to the output please check from your side which partition you need to delete.
