Not wholly following what you are trying to explain, but if an analysis is on a dashboard page / tab then it will run when you open that dashboard page / tab.
If an analysis is being used as the basis of a filter or conditional display logic then it too will run when you open that dashboard page / tab.
If an agent is running on a timed basis then the analyses selected in the agent development will run at that time interval.
If a user navigates in to a report in the catalogue and opens it then the analysis will run at that time.
Beyond that there is no reason why analyses in your catalogue would be run, they remain entirely passive unless / until one of the above applies.
And before Christian corrects you; report = BI publisher, analysis = answers.
Ram, you forgot the most critical information ... what version of OBIEE? (exact version, including bundle patch) How to Ask Questions in Developer Community Spaces
If you have conditions to display and hide sections of your dashboard page the hidden analysis aren't executed. Are you sure that all the 6 are really executed and it isn't just the 6 analysis used by the conditions you see?
How can you say that the 6 analysis run all the time?
PS: report = BI Publisher, in OBIEE Answers it's called analysis (as you see wording is important as Robert posted the same )
