Oracle SQL Developer Monitor Sessions unshared connection

    AraK

Is there a way to force the "Monitor Sessions" report to run in an unshared connection? If I am running a long query and want to check up on it, I want to be able to go to Monitor Sessions and see what is going on. However, the "Monitor Sessions" window will not even show up because it shares the connection with the first opened worksheet. Same goes with other windows that run queries (e.g., the Instance Viewer window under DBA).
