Did you do this?
To me, It worked only when I did this:i
1 - Download and open the JTDS folder.
2 - The ntlmauth.dll you will find inside the x86/SSO folder
3 - The JtdsXA.dll you will find inside the x86/XA folder
4 - Put the ntlmauth.ddl and JtdsXA.dll inside de Sql Developer/sqldeveloper/bin
5 - Copy the jtds-1.2.4.jar to Sql Developer/sqldeveloper/lib
We currently support jTDS 1.3.1 jar.
I want show you all steps done:
1. include into "Tools -> Preferences --> Database --> Third party jdbc driver" jtds jar file:
2. the file is present into the path:
3. dll into bin path ( ntlmauth from x64 path ):
4. into lib path the driver jar file:
5. my JAVA_HOME variable value:
6. my PATH variable value:
7. Sql Developer Error:
Please where I wrong?
is that a 64 bit DLL file?
yes, ntlmauth.dll is taken from x64 path.
I noticed that I can connect to sql server instance with user authentication, so for me is ok.
I'm trying to migrate sql server 2 oracle with migration wizard but I receive this:
PLS-00201: identifier 'SS2K5ALLPLATFORM.STAGECAPTURE' must be declared
into this oracle discussion is said that I need to create the repository with Tools --> Migration --> Repository Management
even selecting "Creating Repository" and my oracle connection the package "SS2K5ALLPLATFORM.STAGECAPTURE" is not created.
MIGRLOG table is empty.
Please Help me.
Did you see the last part?
Apparently, I did not created it correctly.
Because privileges I gave initially, has not enough. (I followed some tutorial).
So I grant all privileges, which helped.
yes I see.
for my oracle user I did:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES TO <myuser> IDENTIFIED BY <user_passowrd>;
but even with the repository is not created.
It will be usefull to know what tutorial he followed.
Show us what you did to create your migration repository.
I suggest creating a NEW schema/user.
Granting resource/quota on a tablespace on said schema, as well as CONNECT.
Then log in as that user, and 'Create Repository...'
ok, I just created a new user as indated here:
but when I try to associate the repository it terminate with:
even deleting and retrying I can't associate the repository.
the solution is these two statement to assign to the oracle user where migrate the source database:
ALTER USER <user> QUOTA UNLIMITED ON <password>;
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES TO <user> IDENTIFIED BY <passowrd>;
now the repository is created without errors, So is useless create a new user.
I told you to do that 3 hours ago...glad you have it working now though.
