    ORDS 18.1.1.95.1251 OAUTH.DELETE_CLIENT not working

    Erik Raetz

      Hi,

      When we try to delete one of our OAuth clients nothing happens. We tried keeping the process alive for minutes until we canceled it.

      Thankfully oauth.revoke_client_role is still working. Means the client can still register tokens though.

      The current ORDS version is:

      select ords.installed_version from dual;

      18.1.1.95.1251

      We use client credential workflow for B2B. Client was created like so:

      oauth.create_client(p_name => 'oauth clientname', p_grant_type => 'client_credentials', p_privilege_names => NULL, p_support_email => 'email_address');

      oauth.grant_client_role('oauth clientname', 'clientrole');

      The client was created some time ago under what I think was ORDS 3.0.2.

      Here is what we did when trying to delete the client.

      oauth.revoke_client_role('oauth clientname', 'clientrole');

      oauth.delete_client('oauth clientname');

      Would an update to ORDS 18.2.X fix this issue?

      Thanks,

      Erik
