IPMP on LACP - is it still supported in Solaris 11.3 ?

User_UAEUZAug 22 2018 — edited Sep 5 2018

Hi all,

I am on Solaris 11.3. I read about DLMP but I prefer LACP (on its load-balancing) and do not mind doing matching configuration on the switch.

However, in 11.3 documentation, i only see information IPMP over DLMP.

q1) is IPMP over trunk/LACP still supported ?

q2) Also, can we create an IPMP interface directly in the global-zone over 2 individual aggr datalinks ?
In the non-globalzone, I also intend to create IPMP interface over VNICs created from the individual aggr links.

Please find diagram below

Is there a way to debug this?

NelsonMendes

Anyone please, this is urgent...

Thanks

Mahmoud_Rabie

It is 4.2.5 if it is 5.0 we could help you by debugging for you on apex.oracle.com to find a solution ASAP.

Could you print screen all the settings of P0_FIELD

NelsonMendes

Sorry it was a typo, its P0 and autocomplete field

PMON

Try taking a look at this thread and checking for a p_page_checksum item and it's position relative to form tags in your page...

Page protection violation on APEX 4.1.1.00.23

Hope this helps

Hi badjaras

Change the type of P0 to be Display Only

For all practical purposes, this is really an item of type Display Only with "Save Session State" of "No"

Reference

Session state protection violation

Please take a look at this

Security - Oracle APEX Best Practices - page 176

I hope that solves your problem

Hi Mahmoud,

Thank you for your reply.

If I change the item to Display Only with "Save Session State" of "No" it works.

But that can not be... Is this a good signal?

Can it help me to debug the error?

Thanks,

NelsonMendes

Hi all,

Ive found that the app item in "Source Value or Expression" is raising this issue, my question is why?

Thanks,
