FIX(@SIBLINGS("Member"), @CHILDREN("Member"), "Any other necessary fixes")
"Account" = "Account"->"Member";
Thanks for the response,
please tell me how to use this command ("Account" = "Account"->"Member";).
In my requirement, I want to copy the value of Account Dimension Member "Distance" into all siblings of Entity Dimension Members.
I should enter "Distance" value one time in the Dataform at one level of Entity member & it should copy on all siblings level.
As we copy data like DATACOPY "JAN" TO "DEC".
Right so in the example you gave, replace "Account" with "Distance" and "Member" in the fix statement with "Entity" and then in the formula replace "Member" with the entity you want to copy. Basically you're saying, for all entities I fix on, set "Distance" equal to the "Distance" for the Entity that I input to.
FIX(@SIBLINGS("Entity"), @CHILDREN("Entity"), "Any other necessary fixes")
"Distance" = "Distance"->"Entity you input to";
I tried the above way but not getting the required thing, its not Copying the Data into siblings/children.
Thanks for your reply.
Can you post the code that you used? Also, be sure to make sure that this isn't a block creation issue. You may want to try and copy data into the cells first, then run the rule to confirm that it is not a block creation problem.
