An Oracle Developer is responsible for the complex design, development, documentation, programming, and maintenance of Oracle-based applications and databases.
Duties consist of but are not limited to the following:
-Analyzing business requirements, proposes, designs, and implementing innovative technical solutions based on sound technical judgment.
-Analyzing, troubleshooting, and identifying root causes and resolves data and/or system related issues and providing production support to development teams for existing systems.
-Collaborating with the infrastructure architects and database teams to ensure that all approved development and deployment procedures are followed.
-Designing and developing application database layers and collaborating with other IT teams to develop and implement database systems.
-Designing and developing specialized data structures for the purposes of data consumption by public facing websites and/or business intelligence data visualizations.
-Coordinating with business analysts to define, clarify, and finalize the required business and technical requirements, and translating business requirements into a conceptual, logical, and physical data model.
-Establishing and implementing application development standards and documentation following best practices.
-Reviewing and optimizing query performance and supporting the customization and configuration of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and/or Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 11g or higher.

Graduation from a recognized college or university, preferably with a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, computer science, or a closely related field
Five years of experience programming and developing business or data warehouse applications in an Oracle-based environment. Three of the last five years must be working with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and/or Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 11g or higher. At least two years of the above experience must be in a team lead or supervisory role. Experience may be concurrent.
A valid California Driver License.
