Portfolio Capacity Planning Limit Flat Lining at Zero

    Steve Montgomery

In Portfolios | Capacity Planning I am trying to display the Engineering & Construction portfolio's At Completion Units of resources in comparison to the limit. But my limit line is flat lining on zero units, as per the below screen shot.

How can I get the Capacity Planning feature to display the allocation limit of all resources in the Engineering & Construction Portfolio? All the projects in this portfolio have been published.

I haven't verified this with help in P6, but I believe allocation limit is from high-level resource planning.  Are you assigning resources to the project or WBS elements?  If yes, then you should see the allocation limit.  If you are assigning resources to activities then you are not using the allocation functionality in P6 and the allocation limit line will not be displayed.

Did you show the limit line and uncheck the box for allocation limit?
